Being Able To Choose Region/Area for Testing Uptime Monitor

I would like to be able to test a given Uptime Monitor from a particular Region. So, if I'm on the Pacific Coast and want to test an already existing uptime monitor from the East Coast, that would be a handy option to have. Does anyone else agree that this would be helpful to have for troubleshooting purposes?
