Patch Manager Access Denied

I login to my laptop with my non admin account, when I launch patch manager it says access denied, even though I have saved creds for the service account to connect to our WSUS servers, why doesn't it see or use those creds and launch, kind of silly to have to open the application get the access denied and then right click and hit connect.

    Patch manager runs in a Microsoft Management Console. Since the MMC snap-in is part of the admin console it requires admin privileges to run which is probably why you are seeing the access denied error when attempting to launch it without the "Run As Admin" option.
