Monitoring Number of Sub-interfaces Created

You would need to do a custom query alert, something like the following (Apologies, cannot test right now):

Select
  node.nodeid,
  node.uri
from
  orion.nodes
having
  count(nodes.interfaces.interfaceid) >= 50

Hi Girban, the best thing you could do is use the 'Time of Day' tab to schedule the alert to only be enabled for maybe an hour every month like in the example below:
