We have been using the Meraki Dashboard polling for a few years now without issue. Suddenly last week the Meraki Dashboard node (Dashboard.meraki.com) began reporting as down. When I edit the node I am able to click the drop down to see our org without issue. But the node continues to report as down/red. When I go to the wireless client information I see that we are no longer collecting client info from the Meraki APs. I went to the dashboard node and choose to discover Meraki devices and it comes back with noting. In the past we would get a list of IP addresses and names for each Meraki device. This is our production Orion and the client data is very important as we have built a report in Power BI that allows us to track the number of unique laptop MAC addresses connected to each AP aka check the number of staff in our various offices.
Our lab Orion instance uses the exact same API key and configuration for the monitor and it works as expected. Tried deleting the dashboard node and adding back. It adds back fine and turns green but after the first poll it warns and then eventually goes to a red/down status. No client data is ever collected.
Anyone have an experience like this or have any suggestions? I have worked with out firewall team, security team, network team, and server team to try to find something impacting the traffic. Nothing stands out as a possible cause. We shut down the lab to ensure it wasn't overloading the API/Key, no change.
