Group wents to warning status but the actual device was up

Question

Group status wents to warning status but the actual device was up. While checked in the event logs of the device, no logs were found for the same.

This is by design I think, any warnings from nodes in a group will place the group in a warning state. A node that is in a warning state does not mean it is down or unavailable. Once the warning state is resolved the group should go back to green.

mark.gover is absolutely correct its not just availability, other factors on the node as well contribute to warning status on the node. And the same will reflect on the group based on what you have selected for the group in advanced tab. 
 DO NOT MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR GROUP UNLESS YOU GET IT APPROVED BY YOUR STAKEHOLDERS, the below details that I am providing is just for your information:

 You can always modify the Group Status under Advanced option in the Group. 
 1. By default it would be set to 'Mixed Status shows Warning' - I am assuming this is what is set in your environment 'default one' 
 2. You have an option to change it to 'Show Best Status' or 'Show Worst Status' - DO NOT CHANGE THIS UNLESS ITS APPROVED, but just letting you know, and details of what exactly this means in mentioned the link that i have pasted.
