now I get the same map on every group

Question

I have hundreds of groups. One day, I was tired...forgot that if...when looking in a group, I select a specific map...that map will appear for EVERY GROUP! Now, I don't know how to undo what I did. I want ABC map to display in ABC group, I want DEF map to display in DEF group. 
 This is not the old maps, where I use Atlas. It is the new maps.

Are you on version 2024.2 by any chance? 
 If so, it is a known bug and 2024.2.1 [due any day] will fix that. 
 If not that version, then go to one of your maps and click the edit button top right of that map widget. Then scroll to the bottom of the popout widget and select your 'Map Name Format' to be what you want/need it to be:

 Simply put this option means the Map Name must equal the Group Name.

 Yes, you have hit the bug. The pop out doesn't 'pop' anymore and the option to select your map name format is simply missing. After much hassle and a few choice words from me a SW employee confirmed this: " is due to a bug in the product that has been investigated by our Development Team under the ticket OO-34535. " p.s. to make things better for all you can accept my first response as 'correct' then it marks this thread as solved. It also means others could find this answer.

Ah yes - there's still a little bug that exists. You have to remove the map widget. Reload the page ( or go to another one that uses the same widget ) and then re-add the widget. Also, ensure you have the following set: And finally make sure that your map name precisely matches the group name.

Yes.2024.2.1 [ as mentioned in my post above ] is a confirmed fix for this. I can also confirm in 2024.4 that it still works.
