I recently upgraded my Fortigates from the 6.4 Firmware platform to the 7.0.11 Firmware platform. After doing so my IP-SEC tunnel interfaces were not reporting the correct status. The tunnel would be down on the Fortigate, however Solarwinds would show the interface in an UP state. I opened a ticket with Fortinet and found that when they moved from the 6. Platform to the 7. Platform the vpn tunnel OID changed to 1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.12.2.2.1.20 (fgVpnTunEntStatus).
Our MIB database in Solarwinds is up to date, we are running database version 1.4.0.6.0008 which does contain the new MIB.
My question is how do I assign the new MIB to the vpn interfaces?
Has anyone else run into this issue?
