This is odd. The ping function on my main poller has stopped working. When adding a node via WMI or an Agent everything looks fine until you open up the node in its summary page and its status is unknown. Now you can edit the node and list resources but ping does not work. I opened a command prompt on the server and tried the ping command and it "locks" up. Here's the kicker... if I turn off all the services in the platform service manager the ping command works. I do have a incident ticket open, so far I have been advised to run a repair and then a config. That has not worked. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks.
