Why is the Brocade SilkWorm Config Backup Failing?

Question

Currently have Brocade SIlkWorm Switches that are polling in fine, NCM is testing as OK, yet when we attempt to back up the config it gives the error "Connectivity issues, discarding configuration (or configuration is too short)". 
 
 Anyone had this issue? How do we fix this?
