SolarWinds advises in their documentation that LA can handle 1000 Events processed per second, 3.6 million per hour and up to 90 million per day. However, as far as I can see, there is no way natively in SolarWinds to see how many events, syslogs, traps, etc, you are receiving per second/hour/day. This makes it difficult to ensure you are within the scalability guidelines SolarWinds provides.
