LA Module Separation

Im wondering what version you are on because the Orion platform has consolidated this. 

If you open database manager and run the below query against your SolarWinds Orion db, and review the details column it will display the modules and versions installed on the servers.

SELECT TOP 1000 * FROM [dbo].[OrionServers]

From within database manager you should also see a separate DB called log analyzer. Depending on your retention settings you may see historical data still. 

My initial thought is yes, however I'm not sure if LA can be a standalone product or not, anyone confirm? If it were possible (which heavily hinges on the ability to install/license standalone), you'll likely need to follow various bits of the migration guide with a mix of new install in there too.

I wouldn't venture down the road of figuring out how/what to do, without knowing if its even possible first. Moving the database is one thing, but if the product doesn't support it... you're SOL.
