We have been doing allot of troubleshooting with this and what we have discovered is that when the Kiwi NG Syslog server reaches 100 connections to the SQL server, it stops logging to the SQL server. There must be a bug or something with the NG Kiwi application. We have 1 location that does not reach the 100 threshold and has not had any disconnects from SQL. The only fix for this is to reboot the Kiwi NG server. If the Firewall or Defender was an issue, it would fail to log to the SQL server completely.
Has anyone had any issues with using remote SQL instances and Kiwi NG? It seems like there is a bug in the application? We have other applications that have 1000's of active SQL connections and do not fail. It is not a SQL version issue. Does the NG server need ODBC connections created? SQL is not installed on the NG server itself so we are not using local SQL. We are using remote SQL so for example Server A "Kiwi NG Server" Server B "Microsoft SQL Server 2022".
