Configuration Issues with Kiwi SYSLOG SERVER v1.3.0

Hi, im Oludare and im new here,

i installed kiwi syslog server v1.3.0 recently and i had issues with the configuration and onboarding new devices(Router/Switches). i have log a case for assistance over 3 days now without any solution. Unlike v9 which has simple setup with video assistance everywhere but with the new version...... please i really need assistance(meanwhile the guidelines on site not helping). Thanks

  • Kiwi Syslog is simply just receiving the logs from your devices. In most cases the majority of the config is done on your router/switch/appliance/server. The next thing to check is if you are receiving any Syslog/trap.

then you need a rule that displays the message or logs it to a file. In a nutshell it’s pretty similar to the old version.

also check the firewall settings if you are allowed to send the lsysog/trap messages to your KIWI
