SMTP HELP

Hello 
 Sorry to bother you, but I'm new to Kiwi in general. I'd like to know how to get reports sent to my personal email. I'm trying to configure it, but I don't understand whether I should create a script to send alerts, emergencies, or critical errors. Do I also need a server for my email to send them?

Test via powershell. Below is an example command. Send-MailMessage -Body 'Test' -SMTPServer smtp.gmail.com -port 465 -Credential (Get-Credential) -UseSsl petermorrissey.blogspot.com/.../sending-smtp-emails-with-powershell.html 
 email.about.com/.../Gmail_SMTP_Settings.htm
