Announcing SolarWinds Kiwi Syslog Server NG (New Generation) 1.0 is now Generally Available!

We are pleased to announce the general availability of SolarWinds® Kiwi Syslog® Server NG 1.0.
Based on .NET technology, this new generation is equipped with a completely new UI, improved performance and security. 

A new generation with .NET
Kiwi Syslog Server NG is a new generation of Kiwi Syslog Server that implements the .NET framework for a more efficient and reliable user experience.

Web-based UI
The Kiwi Syslog Server NG UI has been overhauled and replaced with a new web-based UI. This new web-based UI removes the previous limitations for users with differing privileges and uses role-based access control. Both administrator and standard users can utilize Kiwi Syslog Server NG without requiring separate applications.

Customizable dashboard
Kiwi Syslog Server NG includes a new customizable dashboard. Users can configure the dashboard to focus information into one view with events, lists, and statistical charts. Users can add new widgets based on message volume, stacked message volume, severity distribution, top hosts, counters, and events.

Migrate legacy rules to Kiwi Syslog Server NG
Migrate rules from your legacy KSS environment to KSS NG using a new migration tool available in Settings. To set up your migration, see Migrate rules to KSS NG.

All customers with active maintenance have access to both Kiwi Syslog Server NG and legacy Kiwi Syslog Server.
