I've got a standalone maintenance server running IPMonitor. I have an application server that uses telnet to connect with HandHeld Scanners. At least once a day Telnet fails to accept connections. I have a BAT file which restarts the services which I've tried to execute via IPMonitor Alerts (Remote execution using PSexec). I could not get the BAT file to execute with elevated rights so I installed IPMonitor directly on the application server. For some unknown reason, IPMonitor will not store statistics for the local system, but does report Availability and Coverage correctly.
So far, I've not be impressed with this product. Can someone help?
