IPAM IP address conflict detection can be improve by:
1-adding NPM SNMP Vs NMP SNMP detection method: in this post i found out that i can have two or more Nodes with different MAC address but with the same IP address and IPAM does not detect conflict. using NPM available data such as MAC address and IP address that are fetching via SNMP and using them IPAM service can improve conflict detection.
2- adding SNMP neighbor vs NPM SNMP Detection method: compare Firewall or switches arp table with available MAC address in IPAM DB can detect any conflict in network wide.
