We are in the process of setting up a new DHCP cluster and I am trying to get IPAM connected to the new nodes but I cannot get past the credentials to use for monitoring.
Initially I setup a domain service account to use for this and granted to local admin rights to the DHCP nodes and tried to add the node to IPAM and that did not work. I changed how the credentials looked in Solarwinds and I received the error "The Security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship". So I looked at the existing setup and found an article that the service account needs to be a local account on each DHCP server. I setup a local account and tried to connect and now it is saying bad user name/password.
I have been using this - https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/ipam/content/ipam_administrator_guide.htm and the PDF admin guide
Then I found this and figured it would work and no go - https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Trust-error-when-adding-a-new-DHCP-server?language=en_US
These are all running Server 2019 and it is configured as a DHCP Cluster.
Thanks!
