At the moment, it is only possible to set up a highly available repository for DPA. This is only one part of the Solarwinds DPA architecture.
If the application server fails or becomes unavailable due to a datacentre, network or hardware issue, monitoring will be also be unavailable and stopped.
For an enterprise level monitoring solution, this is problematic. It can affect the ability to monitor and alert out of hours for critical incidents.
A HA approach like load balancing for the application server would address this issue, but this is not currently possible.
The Orion platform offers high availability for the application, it should therefore be possible to translate the approach to DPA.
