Can you do dynamic notifications on alerts?

Question

Is there a way to have a simple alert like a IO Waits that when it gets triggered will go to a notification group based on some property like the ServerName or Database Name or Custom Property? So you have a bunch of different environments that different groups are responsible for and don't want to create a separate alert for each group of servers.

i dont think so. DPA is not as flexible as its core platform. 
 Only Contacts are eligible for mail notification and Contacts do not have variable information. 
 Only i can think of with one alert is for about 6 groups as we have 6 notification levels. In latest DPA, we have

so write in custom sql query in such a way using custom properties that 6 levels respond to 6 teams. 
 I am sure you have more than 6 teams and this is not at all ideal. 
 better open a feature request to have custom properties use in email dl or enable email customization for To:, cc: and bcc:
