Hi,
I am using DPA 2023.4.300.502 and monitoring a Microsoft sql server instance V 15.0.4355.3.
I have been trying to figure out the best way to troubleshoot and get hold on the query text for a query that is contributing to most of wait time on the server see image1/3.
The DPA is great to highlight the culprit query wait but with just single statement commit text see image 1.
Further more when I check; I can see idle blocker but again no text see image 3. This is frustrating because now I do not know if the query is the problem or a victim.
I believe if DPA manage to quantify, calculate the wait and the idle blocker, then should map successfully the wait to the contributor and surface the idle blocker current or last statement .
Your help is much appreciated.
