Thin client

Dear All,

We have in our company that using thin client and we want to add in solarwinds.

the challenges we have all thin client we used have dhcp so the ip is not static.

also the we have many location.

We need to Cisco phone also in solarwinds.

I need your support.

  • You can add and monitor nodes by their dhcp hostname, doesn't have to be a static IP as long as the Orion server can resolve the name.

    Number of locations isn't really a problem, although having a bad network connection between the locations and the SW servers can be a nuisance.

    Regarding the phones, there is a module called VNQM that can ingest call records from Cisco CallManagers to track the individual phones and the performance characteristics of calls being made, such as latency and jitter or call failures.
