ARM Request Mail Language

We use different OpenOrder Tempaltes and Open Templates for Request Workflows and this works fine so far.

The Mails to the Requester are normally send in the language the requester is currently logged into ARM Webgui.

But the Mails to the next approver or admin are typically send in english.

How is the language for the next approver defined?

Can the default language be adjusted?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Best Regards

  • Hi Lukas, that sounds for a bug, because it should always the language from the requester. But to answer your question, there is no way to configure the mail language for the next approver. The only why you can do is to simplify the you replace in all XSLT Files the language you prefer or you do a multi language file, means english, german together in one file. That is what we did so far.

  • Hi MIke

    Thank you for your answer.

I have talked to the support and they have assured me that it always takes the language the user who gets the mail was last logged into ARM Web.

I have tested it and this seems to be the case.

Of course it would also be an option to change the XSLT File
