Email Authentication

We recently upgraded to WHD 12.7.7 is the email software still utilizing basic authentication on this version? We wanted to switch to Modern authentication for emails software as Microsoft will be ending support for Basic Authentication. It is still showing as Basic Authentication on our email connection to Web Help Desk. We link our forwarded tickets through Microsoft Outlook.

We're on 12.7.9 so I don't know if this applies to 12.7.7. The Outgoing is still "Basic" but Incoming can be configured with OAuth or Basic.

Thank you, Do you know if there is a setting needed to change manually to configure the mail authentication

Within the Inbound Mail setup you need to change from Authentication Mode = Basic to OAUTH. See Configure an incoming e-mail account for Office 365
