Web Help Desk Linux vs Windows server

Has anyone noticed if there is a performance improvement or less issues running Web Help Desk on a Linux server vs a Windows server. I tend to see better performance and fewer bugs with web servers when running on Linux over windows. Just curious if the same is true for Web Help Desk?

Yes, Linux will show much better performance when put on similar VM specifications
