Created By / Reporter Name on Child Tickets

When a child ticket is created, the individual who created the action rule for that child ticket appears in the "Created By" field of the child ticket.  This same name also appears in the "Reporter" field of the email notification sent to the Technician.  Is there a way to change this?  I reviewed the options in the action rules, however it only gives me the option to assign a Client to child tickets.  I don't see an option to change the Created By name.

  • This is still an issue with version 12.7.2. I created all of the action rules for our setup, and every time a child ticket is created and sends an email to the Client, it shows me as the one who entered the ticket and Request Detail. This is misleading to anyone viewing the ticket.
