Support IBM Virtualization (LPar, VIO)

i guess the answer is "no" :-)

I think some basic functionality in SRM would be nice, like knowing when there are pathing issues as well as allow mapping of Volumes to LUN's the way VMware Volumes can be mapped to LUN's if you own Virtualization Manager and SRM.  Obviously full detailed monitoring is going to be handled better by specialty tools, but some essential high level features like this would be nice to help identify issues and alert on them.

@SWI-Product-Managers: do you have some actual information about IBM Virtualization in combine with support?

What IBM tool sets do you use to monitor your PowerVM environment?

We are continuing to evaluate the opportunity for supporting IBM Virtualization, but there are no confirmed timeframes at the moment.
