Trying To Understand Capacity Planning Graphs / Data

I recently started working on creating the capacity planning reports for our VMware estate. For now, my goal is to see the "Run A Checkup" reports, not a simulation. I have noticed that in both my organizations results and on the SolarWinds official documentation page that there appears to be a second "Simulated Utilization" line above the line that is drawn to the right of "Today".

Scroll to the CPU Usage and memory graphs

I'm not sure what this is meant to represent? Can anyone explain how that value was derived and what it means?
