It would be great if VMAN collected VMware tags and exposed them as entities that could be used in reports and also as scope filters for those reports. Is this possible?
Support for VMware Tags is something we are currently working on. You can go to the product roadmap page to see that and other things we are currently working on. We also have an active survey about that subject and some others that you can participate in: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/VMAN-Discussions/ANY-VIRTUAL-AND-OR-CLOUD-MONITORING-FOLKS-OUT-THERE-WE-HAVE/td-p/606087

We were just discussing this during a meeting this morning. We use VMWare Tags to ID who owns a VM. We were looking for a way to have Solarwinds look at the TAG, see the email address associated with it, then send an email to that group about the snap shots. Tagging would be amazing to get added. Thanks! Dave
For now I'm sure you could put together an automated powershell script to grab those from the VMWare API and populate them into a custom property at either the Node or VirtualMachine level.
