We have Hundreds of Domain controller deployed across the world and now the AD team is centralizing all the Event logs from hundred's of AD to single Syslog Collector (Dell Intrust) and further exploring the possibilities to pull these event messages into Microsoft SCOM.
From the design point of view it does not make much sense if Solarwinds have to poll hundreds of Domain controller to fetch the event logs for UDT requirement.
Is it possible for Solarwinds to pull the event log data from Microsoft SCOM (as MS SCOM agents are installed on Microsoft) or other Syslog collector like Dell Intrust ?
I believe other large enterprises may also be facing similar challenges and would like to know how you are dealing similar issues.
