Subject: Error generating PDF report to send by email using Schedule Manager

I have solved a MAJOR PROBLEM with the SolarWinds Orion Platform on the morning of 27 May 2022.

When you try to send PDF reports by EMAIL using the Schedule Manager, you get the following error message in the PDF report.

The Page Failed to Load

A connection attempt was refused.

When you are editing the Schedule inside Schedule Manger, you get the following warning.

WEBSITE ADDRESS MISMATCH

Website address in browser (hostname01.project.domain.com/) is different from the one which was set up by Configuration Wizard (http://hostname01:8787/).
This may lead to receive Login page instead of Report. Please make sure you have configured https following this SolarWinds KB article and assigned webpage matches the one specified in certificate.

Click OK to proceed or CANCEL to correct data.


Apparently the engineer(s) responsible for setting up SolarWinds Orion Platform for the project a few years ago made a few configuration mistakes.

I google searched and found the following resources.

After reading the above resources, I made changes to the SQL database inside the Solarwinds Orion Database Manager.

I changed ServerName from hostname01 to hostname01.project.domain.com inside the database table.

I changed Port from 8787 to 443 inside the database table.

I changed SSLEnabled from 0 to 1 inside the database table.

Problem solved. I have solved the problem. Now we are getting the correct PDF reports sent by EMAIL using the Schedule Manager.
