Node Details Windows Server 2022

Starting to test out Windows Server 2022. We are using the SW Agent on devices moving forward.

Looks like the device machine type for Server 2022 is showing up as Server 2019. Looking to resolve this. I assume it is how the node details are being collected via built-in poller? Will need to wait for a newer version of Orion with a newer agent, or some other way to resolve at this time?

Received this from support today: The behavior is a known issue internally and has a fixed on the 2022.3 release.

Just opened a case on 2022. They have no current date for supporting 2022.

Tried to see if it would be a dot upgrade, or a full upgrade before the support 2022. They have no current date for supporting 2022.

So to summarize, They have not current date for supporting 2022. It was release by Microsoft Sept 2021 ......

We have been asked this by people on site also, 'Why's this server showing 2019, it's 2022' and we have had to allay concerns that the monitoring of those servers is suspect. Not found any issues yet other than the OS label but hoping it is resolved soon as it detracts from the good.

We are running Orion 2020.2.6 not the 2022.x cloud package.

Wonder if they will add to premise Orion installatoins.
