We have one account in our setup (NPM) where we can't change permissions. It's a domain based account, but I should still be able to alter its permissions in the GUI?? Other users set in a like wise manner are editable.
Any ideas please?

As far as I can tell nothing special.
I go to the account management page, select the user via the tick box and edit. Trying to remove the rights to manage dashboards and the no option is grayed out.
I can adjust any other account, be they domain or local and everything from full admin down.
Does this user have its manage views permission set to Yes? If so then Manage Dashboards to Yes also. Managed views must be set to No in order to set manage dashboards to No also.
Hello Tony - thanks for sticking at this.
The short answer is that yes, manage views is set to yes, but that is also another setting that can't be edited as no is grayed out.
Does the user also have 'All Administrator Rights' set to Yes? This permission superceeds both manage views and manage dashboards
Well [slaps head] of course.
