Hi,

I've the same question with regards to threshold and escalation in single alert.

For Example:

We have disk percent space used is 75% we want to send email alert to escalation1 and when the same node disk percent space used jumps to 85% we need to inform escalation 2

When the disk alert elevates to 90% and above we need to create a service now incident.

Is this logic possible in Solarwinds?

That's one way to do it, but I've always done it as two different alerts.

• Warning between 75% and below 85%.
• Critical over 85%

The escalation rules are very simple in the platform.  Have you had a chance to review them?

Yeah escalation rules are only applied when the alert is not acknowledged in Solarwinds and we will be able to escalate it to 2nd level within time span of minutes/hours/days.

I don't find anyway to do it in a single alert as the escalation logic is based on time and not based on the percentage of the disk.

Any insights to create as a single alert for multiple threshold and escalating based on threshold would be helpful

That's not how the product is architected.  Someone may have a clever way to do this, but the platform isn't designed to do this out of the box.
