Notify Enabled False?

I've been informed that some of my alerts are not sending e-mails out and I ran this report to show all my configured alerts.

Notice the bottom alert for application goes down 10 minutes, says "NOTIFY ENABLED" - False

I am really confused, this alert is enabled and there is an action assigned to email me.

So why isn't it working? and why does this report say NOTIFY ENABLED - FALSE? other alerts work fine, they say ENABLED TRUE NOTIFY ENABLED TRUE... i'm very confused now.

Hi Tony,
Its just the standard out of the box alert for node reboots.
I have recreated this alert and I have rerun the alerts configured report and I now have one reboot node alert that displays notify enabled true and one that is false. So I will receive the alerts but I have other alerts too that say notify enabled false, will I have to recreate them too? Surely there must be a database field that the alert configuration report refers to as the "notify enabled" field that is somehow editable within solarwinds?

Without knowing why NofityEnabled is set to false I would be hesitant to change it.
The following command would work if you want to make that change.
update AlertDefinitions set NotifyEnabled=1
As always, please make sure you have a backup of the database before making any changes.

Thanks Tony, so I backup the db, then where do I run "update AlertDefinitions set NotifyEnabled=1 on the specific alert? in database manager?

SQL management studio is the best option for managing the database.

1. connect to the database instance
2. Click New Query – Make sure the correct database is selected, then execute.

I tried that and I have run my report again to show my configured alerts, you can see my new "Node is rebooting" alert and the problematic "Node rebooted" below alert is still set to false even though i've turned it back on...
Interestingly i've tried rebooting a node and i've had no response from my new "Node is rebooting" alert either... i've raised this with Solarwinds support.
