Hi All,
Our SRM was setup with two Nimble storage arrays and Dell Compellent.
After migration of DSM data collector to AWS we've lost monitoring of Dell storage, but Nimble arrays were fine.
Solarwinds server has not been changed or moved. One day monitoring of Nimble arrays stop working too.
'Add Storage Device' fails with error: "The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.".
I have support case open. It has been "escalated" to developers but there is no traction.
I can access storage arrays from Solarwinds polling engine server and with use of Postman get all data for monitoring. The access account details are correct, ports are open.
With Solarwinds Support Technician we've captured packets on SW polling server and there were no packets generated by the application that should go to the array.
I've removed all arrays from SRM hoping that would clear the config, but it didn't help.
I've reinstalled SRM module, still getting 403 error.
Since we can't see any packets originating on SW that should go to array, that suggest fault in application itself not infrastructure.
What can cause SW SRM to fail to generate and send polling packets out from the server?
Any suggestions what else I can do to get SW SRM working?
Thanks
