Have NPM reopen previously created ticket in SD for the same host / same alert, if it exists, instead of creating a new ticket each time.

Could the alerts for, the same host, coming from integrated Solarwinds NPM reopen old / existing incident for the host if it had been created before and not create a new Incident each time it happens?

  • We use different systems for alerts, but we also require the alerts to not be created if already exist. We also have daily tasks that are scheduled SRs that go to IT to do their maintenance checks, but if the one from before is already open it currently creates a new one and we have to manually merge or close the new ticket. Would great if it was smart enough to know that already existed and didn't need to create a new one, This was something we had in the old SD that we used.
