Can you add an approval process to new tickets?

I'm trying to understand if it's possible to add approvals processes to Service Desk, just like WHD has: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Set-up-an-approval-ticket-in-WHD?language=en_US

Basically, we want our new starter request forms to then email certain people in the business seeking an approval or decline.
