Discovery Scanner -SCCM integration

I'm trying to have assets populated  from SCCM into our Service Desk instance using the scanner but it does not seem to connect or retrieve any data. 

The scanner was installed on a Win Server 2016 1607 and it seems to connect to the Service desk, however the SCCM connector gets a 'not responding' status. 

Entered the correct dataserver, the creds used are for an account with admin access, port 1433 and the database being CM_SCN. 

When i try the test connection it shows able to connect as well BUT no matter how many times i run the scan it shows not responding and polls no data. 

Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on how i can get it running properly?
