Our existing backup solution (Commvault) supports file system backups via agent, but also supports virtual machine backups via agent for VMware. For us, Solarwinds Backup would be a very attractive alternative if it could create VM snapshots, perform the backups and then remove the snapshots without needing any access to the guest operating system.
