What We're Working On for SolarWinds Backup (Updated: February 5, 2018)

Our product teams are hard at work building the next release with their focus around our themes of speed, security, and compliance.  Here's what we're working on, in no particular order of priority:

• Higher frequency and shorter backup windows: an enhancement designed to track changes with files as they happen near real-time, reducing the scanning phase of any backup session and ultimately resulting in shorter backup windows.
• Additional security role: an add-on to the current Super-User role, this role will further segment the access and controls for passphrase and access to restore data.
• GDPR compliance: enhancements designed to ensure all customers have the tools they need to remain GDPR compliant.
• Cloud to Cloud Backup: building backup and recovery capabilities to drive comprehensive support for Hybrid IT​ and Multi-Cloud​ environments, such as support for backups of Microsoft Office 365 (SaaS) to our SolarWinds Backup cloud.
