SCM currently can do a comparison between two configurations at different points in time on the SAME system. How about we have a feature that allows us to compare configuration settings ACROSS 2 systems. This can ease the administration tasks of system administrators to a great deal - as OS configurations, OS updates, OS upgrades etc can easily be compared.
Two ways in which this could be done -
1. NCM like config compare between 2 servers
2. Allow export & import of Baseline - we could export the baseline of the primary server and import it to the test server for comparison.
This is a must-have feature for critical setups that want to check for "Server Configuration DRIFT" across their primary and secondary sites (Maybe DC-DR)
