Server Configuration Monitor (SCM) 2020.2.6 Is Now Generally Available!

The latest release for SCM 2020.2.6 is now available to download in your Customer Portal.

As part of our commitment to being Secure by Design and providing a more resilient platform, this Service Release focuses on hardening of the Orion Platform and its modules, removal of legacy code, security and bug fixes, and feature enhancements.

Parents

  • A new, built-in alert (disabled by default) provides detailed information on changes to server configuration items. This alert is triggered when something has changed on the node. For files and registry keys, the alerting object contains the file or registry path. For other elements, the element alias is displayed. This alert also sends an email that contains detailed information about each change and contains a direct link to the Content Diff page so you can see changes immediately. This type of alert is also visible on the Active Server Configuration Alerts resource on the Summary or Node Details page
