Hello,

Has anyone successfully implemented z/OS mainframe monitoring via SNMP V2. I would like to understand the steps you undertook to define the values from z/OS mainframe perspective.

Would someone please share your experience here ?

No, but usually with SNMP you're defining values on the host OS, then just collecting them with SW. Might be better placed in a mainframe z/OS forum

Hi, the trick is to get snmp working. Then monitoring with SolarWinds can be done, either with UnDP's or other tools.

Haven't done anything with z/OS but with as/400. Not sure if they have any resemblance. (not my area at all) Then we had to add a snmp agent from COMTEK.
