Installing SAM on the same NPM server

Hi all,

I want to install SAM on my current NPM server. However, after launching the solarwinds installer, I get the following and cannot proceed with SAM install. Any help or advice is welcome. Thanks

Try going to SA license manager page. On the right side, you'll see products

No, if you want to test Sam, just go to the manage licenses page and on the lower right (I think) you click to start a Sam trial. Just takes a minute.

Hi, what version of Orion do you have? Looks like 2022.3 or 2022.4. If that's the case, SAM is already installed. It's just a matter of adding the license on the "license manager" web page

Hi Seashore, thanks for your reply. I am running the 2022.4 version. So basically if I want to trial SAM, then I will need to create a new VM and install SAM on it for testing purposes?
