APM Templates

Good morning,

I have just started to use APM, I would like to create a template to monitor a complex application. The application consists of a clustered oracle database running on a number of Linux servers with a number of windows servers running various windows applications. Is it possible to create a single template to monitor the lot or should I create a number of discrete components. If the latter is the case can I nest a number of templates under one main template?

I would suggest multiple templates, with a given template for a given type of server. Templates don't nest in v1.
