We have a requirement to restrict file types for file sharing. Upon testing, it was observed that this functionality is available for file transfer and web client but not for file sharing. Users are able to upload restricted file types under file sharing.
A case "#01087303 Restrict File Types" where we received a response stating that it has been confirmed by Serv-U dev team that file restriction was only applicable with file transfer and web client only and not for file sharing.

This is a security gap would appreciate if SolarWinds can extend the functionality to file sharing.
