I have replaced our _very_ old download file server with Serv-U and am relatively happy. Yet, one thing nags me:
Before, I was able to provide direct links to the files on the server eg. http://download.domain.com/ABC/20201002/setup.exe, which now leads to a 404. I have seen server setups (not Serv-U I presume), where a direct link to a file was redirect to the login form and after successfully logging in downloaded the file.
Is there any way to configure Serv-U in much the same way?
