Creating connector

I feel like I remember it being possible to create our own connectors in SEM, but I don't see the ability anywhere. Is this not possible? There are a few logs on a server I would like to monitor that doesn't have a built in connector.

    You can not make your own connector and must put a requested feature.  The reason for this is to ensure compatibility with SEM.  You can modify existing connectors if you know REGEX but considering any update to the connector with override your changes so not recommended either.

    Simply the answer is no at this time. please raise the request for the connector.
