Syslog Filter for negated message pattern

I wish to filter my system for all messages that do not contain a specific message pattern

This is one of the primary reasons I have to resort to using the Microsoft Management Studio and query the database directly. I only negate certain message patterns. If I had this functionality on the web interface I would never resort to querying the database myself.
